The Art Deco designed numerals at 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 are individually raised/applied and vermeil-plated in 18k yellow gold, while the remaining numerals are defined by sleek black printed lines. Together, these details create a beautifully balanced dial with just the right amount of flair, giving this elegant Tank a distinctive character.

Also notice the beautifully blued hands, which remain remarkably crisp and untouched, free from damage, tool marks, or any traces of moisture. The gorgeous gloss black printing of the Cartier signature and minute track further adds to the dial’s appeal, while the finely raised details convey an unmistakable sense of quality.

We have paired the watch with a brown leather strap, finished with the original Must de Cartier folding clasp, a combination that perfectly complements the warm tones of the case and buckle. The Tank's case back retains its clearly visible reference numbers and hallmarks, a detail often softened by decades of wear. The original crystal remains free from scratches, chips, or other damage, offering a clear view of the beautiful dial beneath.

During service, the case, case back, and folding clasp were professionally re-gold plated, restoring their appearance to an exceptional, like-new standard with crisp finishing.

Particular attention should also be paid to the original crown, which remains fitted with its blue sapphire cabochon. Both the crown and cabochon are in excellent condition, free from cracks, chips, or other signs of damage.

The Cartier-signed quartz movement has received a full battery service, and the watch has been fitted with a new mineral crystal. As said, the 925 sterling silver case has also been freshly vermeil-plated in 18k yellow gold, with the same treatment applied to the original Cartier folding clasp.
