The glossy dial on this Oysterdate has a mirror finish and used to be black. Now, after more then 52 years that black lacquered dial is showing hints of golden brown tones, which is super attractive in combination with the watch its golden indices and hands. The dial is very ‘warm’ in the daylight and displays different hues of brown, to go right back to black once worn indoors – Different lighting situations will give this watch an ever changing dial colour, truly appealing and very rare. The indices and hands have also aged to a very attractive darker tone of gold, almost pink or reddish – this truly is a one of a kind Rolex Oysterdate, I’m certain you will not find another like it! The stainless steel case on this Rolex Oysterdate Precision remains in a good condition and is free from dents and/or corrosion with the serial and case-number clear and visible between the lugs. The watch is fitted to our beautiful Desert Sunrise Nubuck strap which truly compliments the extraordinary Tropical dial with its warm, golden brown tones.
