OYSTERDATE SMOKEY BLACK/TAUPE DIAL

The mirror gloss dial on this Oysterdate used to be black. Now, after almost 50 years the black laquered dial is showing hints of golden brown tones, which is very attractive in combination with those golden hour-markers and hands. The dial is very ‘warm’ in the daylight and displays different hues of brown to go back to black once indoors. different lighting situations will give this watch an ever changing dial colour, really beautiful and rare. The markers also turned to a very attractive darker tone of gold, almost pink or reddish, this is truly a one of a kind Oysterdate – You will not find another like this i’m sure! The case on this Rolex 6694 is in a good condition, yes it has been polished over the past 50 years, but still looks good and is free from dents and/or corrosion with it’s serial and case-number clear and visible between the lugs. The watch is fitted on a beautiful and matching Grained Whiskey Tan strap which compliments that stunning dial!

The movement has been fully serviced according to the Rolex specifications and the watch will be sold with a twelve month warranty.
