Rolex Oyster Precision 6426

This very cool Rolex Oyster Precision with reference 6426 is a watch which measures 34mm in diameter, but due to the fairly large dial, the longer and more flat profile and the smooth bezel, this beauty wears more like a 36mm watch. I’m mentioning this as a lot of gents feel that a 34mm watch is too small for their wrist, but please stop by and try this wonderful Rolex on for size – I’m sure you will like it as much as we do! Having said that, this is also a wonderful Rolex for you ladies out there, as the ladies often prefer these Oyster Precision watches due to their flatter and lightweight design.

The 48 year old stainless steel case looks great with a lot of ‘meat on the bone’ on both the left and right side of the case. This case also features four even shaped lugs and a fairly nice conditioned, smooth bezel which still shows sharp edges (instead of rounded ones by over-polishing which is often the case with these daily beater, Oyster Precision watches). The matte black dial features double-width indices on the quarter positions while the remaining hours are displayed by sleek, stick indices – A well considered and nice symmetrical design for this black dial Rolex Oyster. That black dial has a semi gloss finish, but shows some traces of matte patina around the indices. Both the minute and hour hand are the original ones with those nice and pointy ends. All in all a Rolex with a wonderful vintage presence and a lot of bang for your buck!

She’s worn on our Lago Green, Grained leather strap, but any other strap from our collection looks equally great. Needless to say you can pick the strap you like best.
