ROLEX DATEJUST ‘VERTICAL BRUSHED’
We’re happy to offer you guys another excellent vintage Datejust, this time it’s a beautiful 1603 specimen from 1973 with a cool and rare Sigma dial. Look close and you will notice that the already gorgeous pie-pan dial has a grainy vertical finish, often referred to as ‘Vertical Brushing’ Most Datejust dials have a sunburst or matte finish to them, but this beauty has vertical lines applied to the dial, in the same way Rolex would apply brushed lines to their Oyster bracelets – it’s the coolest texture and a unique look when compared to other vintage Datejust watches!
The case on this Rolex Datejust ‘Vertical Brushed’ is nice and clean with a solid, stainless steel Engine turned bezel and thick lugs. She’s fitted to the original 6251H Jubilee bracelet with 55 end-links which remains in a strong condition with little space between the links and a clean folding clasp with a sharp Rolex coronet. All tritium dots at the end of the 18k white gold indices are accounted for and the dial is free from any damages whatsoever.
This vintage Datejust with killer Sigma dial remains in excellent condition and was once again fully serviced, she will be sold with a 12 month warranty.
