ROLEX DATEJUST ‘JUBILEE DIAL’

You either love or hate the so-called Jubilee dial as seen here on our 16200 Datejust, and just to be clear – We love it! Not only because it’s a rare dial, but because of the quality and overall high-end finish of the dial. All Rolex dials are manufactured in-house, largely by hand, and are responsible for the watch’s identity and readability. This Rolex Jubilee dial is characterized by a reliefs backdrop with a cool design that incorporates the word ROLEX dozens of time. The Arabic numerals are fashioned from 18 ct. white gold and offer excellent readability. We believe this dial started out as a pure white dial (as we can show you in an original Rolex catalogue from the 1990’s we have in the office) and gradually, this dial changed its color to the gorgeous (matte) milky tone it is right now. Apart from the warm tone, there’s also a light sparkle mixed with the dial paint, truly stunning.

This Datejust it’s case, bezel and bracelet are in a more than excellent condition! The watch has sharp lines and a strong case, a sharp ‘smooth’ bezel and a 16520H Jubilee bracelet with little stretch.The success of the Datejust is truly phenomenal, for over 70 years this beautiful wristwatch has been in production and is now more popular than ever. The Datejust still retains the beauty and exclusiveness that have made it famous and is truly a watch that every watch collector or watch-lover, should at least have owned once in their lifetime.
