Oyster Perpetual 1002 “Freckles”

This Rolex OP from 1989 features a heavy Champagne dial with spots on the center of the dial, since the freckle filter for selfies is big thing nowadays (at least it is in my household with two Tik Toking kids) we decided that the spots on this Rolex face (caused by a tiny bit of moist at some point in time) deserved the nickname “Freckles” as they really look like those little pigment cells. Even though the freckle spots are fairly visible in the photo’s, they aren’t that apparent in real life or when the watch is worn, when on the wrist you will hardly notice them and the watch will radiate a warm appearance due to the heavy champagne colour. This Oyster Perpetual is still fitted on it’s original M9 stamped 78350/557 Oyster bracelet from 1988 with a folding clasp that shows a clean and sharp Rolex coronet. The case is in a good condition while the original smooth, and slightly domed bezel, is free from damages.
