Louis Cartier Phase de Lune

Well well, what a magnificent Tank Louis Cartier watch.. This 18k yellow gold Tank with Date-pointer and Moonphase complications is one of the very few LC Tanks manufactured, no other Tank watch in this size was ever fitted with these complications. This Louis Cartier, Phase de Lune was fully serviced by the Cartier after sales service in 2018 with all paperwork and receipts to back it up. Despite being worn nearly everyday for the last couple of years (right after the Cartier service) the watch still remains in excellent conditions. The 18k yellow gold case still shows sharp and hard lines and hasn’t been polished much during the last 20 years. The cream coloured, grainy dial with those wonderfully sleek printed, Roman numerals and Arabic numbers for the date, remains absolutely perfect. The Moonphase is displayed via a dark blue night sky, while the actual moon is displayed by a polished, yellow golden moon. We fitted one of our favourite straps to this LC Tank, our signature Grained, Midnight Blue watch strap with ton-sur-ton stitching – The watch and strap closes around your wrist using a gold plated Cartier pin buckle.

The Cartier signed movement was fully checked and received a fresh battery service. We left the yellow gold case exactly the way we found it, no polishing was done!
