Lady Datejust ‘Anniversary’ B&P
The Lady Datejust model was first introduced by Rolex in 1957, and it quickly became one of the most popular women’s watches in the world. Since its inception, the Lady Datejust has been synonymous with luxury, style, and quality. The reference 69173 was first introduced in the 1980s and has since become a ladies gem.
This particular 69173 reference is exceptional due to the use of 18k yellow gold and stainless steel. Its two-tone appearance gives it a distinctive and opulent vibe that no other women’s watch can match. With a case diameter of 26mm, it is the ideal size for a woman’s wrist, and the fluted bezel gives the watch a touch of brilliance. The creamy ‘anniversary’ dial is one of the most noticeable aspects of this Ladies Datejust, and the dial color in combination with the anniversary-dial design, where the word ‘Rolex’ is repeated across the entire dial, creates a very handsome and seldom seen, two-tone Rolex lady Datejust. This particular Ladies Rolex has another distinctive quality in the fact that it is unpolished, indicating that it has not undergone any alterations since it was created. This raises the piece’s collectibility and is a bit of a rare discovery in the world of vintage watches. For some, it is also a significant plus that the watch still retains the original case-back sticker and is packaged with/accompanied by, the original boxes and paperwork. Also notice the warm patinated Tritium on the indices and inside the hands, these all show a matching, custard color which adds to the overall warm vibe of the dial, and the entire watch for that matter – The Jubilee bracelet shows zero stretch by the way.
The movement has been fully serviced, but we didn’t touched the unpolished case and/or bracelet. This Lady Datejust with cream ‘Anniversary’ dial will be sold with our 24 month warranty.
