AP Dual Time 25730SA

We will not bother you with the story which probably has been told a hundred times, about how Gerald Genta came to the design of the Royal Oak. Instead, take in what is a magnificent Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in a two tone configuration with a ‘complication’ Dual Time movement, showing you your local time, a second timezone on the sub register just above the six o’clock position, a power reserve located on the left side of the dial, right around the eight an eleven o’clock markers, and a sub-register between one and three o’clock position, which will tell you the current date.

This AP Dual Time 25730SA is a watch which moved from the US, to Hong Kong, to ultimately end up here with us in Haarlem. As you can see in the photo’s, the watch maintains a lot of its original lines and characteristics – the case and bracelet are both razor sharp, and despite of some hairline scratches (which reveal the joy of actually wearing such a watch) you can also clearly make out the original chamfers on the case, which run through and beautifully connect with the first few links on the integrated bracelet. The watch still features the original non-logo crown, and the hidden clasp on the bracelet is also still the original one. The yellow gold inside the bracelet and on the bezel has some nice ‘patina’ to it, meaning the gold radiates more warmth due to aging, when compared to new yellow gold – This truly adds more to the overall attractiveness of this neo-vintage Audemars Piguet.

We deliberately chose to not polish the case and or bracelet, as these parts – and the entire watch for that matter – show wonderful and razor sharp lines all over. Knowing the importance of a strong case and bracelet with unpolished lines, I’m sure you guys will agree on our decision. However, should those marks of wear disturb you, or you’d simply like this AP to look like new again, we will be more than happy to attend to your needs and have them professionally removed, while keeping the sharp lines intact as much as possible, of course.

This AP Dual Time 25730SA was fully serviced by Audemars Piguet and has also been fully inspected by our watchmakers in-house, and is once again covered by our 24 month warranty. The watch will be accompanied by the original warranty book, including Hong Kong, AP service center, service cards.
