The fluted bezel is still sharp, and is free from any damages. It is also worth noting that the sapphire crystal on this Day-Date is the original Rolex one, this means it has the correct 2.5x magnification for the cyclops, which optimizes the date of course. Also, take note of the smooth golden edges on the day and date windows; these are the kinds of details that provide depth to this pitch black dial that just keeps dragging you in. This Onyx Day-Date is an extremely sturdy watch, with a strong center-case, four equally shaped lugs, and a President bracelet that doesn’t stretch much.
