16220 ‘Champagne Tapestry’

Here’s another gorgeous Datejust. This Tapestry dial 16200 brings an extra touch of flair and uniqueness to the table, making you smile every time you look down at your wrist. Each vertical line in the Tapestry design is raised, but it also consists of extremely thin lines, all part of a concentric guilloche around the entire dial – when examined up close, this finish is simply amazing. The combination of vertical and tiny concentric lines in this warm champagne tone, brings the Tapestry pattern to life on your wrist.

This 1991 neo-vintage Datejust with a 16200 reference is in genuinely outstanding condition, with a robust and sharp case and matching 62510H Jubilee bracelet. The warm Champagne Tapestry dial is complemented by 18k white gold indices that all have a slight facet cut detail at the top and bottom, as well as a matte, brushed finish running down the middle of the indice, which improves the dial’s overall legibility. The Tritium on the dial has a lovely off-white tone, which matches the Tritium inside the white gold hands perfectly. The engine-turned bezel is in a fantastic condition, with sharp edges all around; we left it unpolished throughout the watch’s full service overhaul. This Datejust has a superb neo-vintage presence and will only welcome compliments; it is a watch you will never grow tired of!
