16030 Datejust ‘Flat White’

We’re happy to once again offer you guys a magnificent vintage Rolex Datejust. This 16030 reference from 1978 remains in a very well preserved condition with a beautiful warm dial colour which will have you smiling all summer long.

The mild Sunburst lines emerging from the center of the dial, together with that wonderful vintage dial paint, make up this awesome dial color best described as the top of a freshly brewed, Flat White coffee. There’s white and dark-cream in there, but most of the times the cream color prevails – this tone in conjunction with those white gold, brushed indices with their subtle polished facets on the top and bottom, make for a very attractive vintage Rolex. In day and/or sunlight the dial will show you a cream tone, indoors the colour becomes more white with a slightly darker colour in the center of the dial. The case on this 16030 Datejust is nice and strong with equally shaped lugs and an engine turned bezel. This Engine Turned bezel does show some traces of wear, however we chose not to polish the bezel because it still shows strong and original characteristics. The watch is worn on its original 62510 solid Jubilee bracelet with 555 end-links. Last but not least! Please notice that super clean dial – no damages, no moist or dried-up water spots, and to top it off that beautiful matching vanilla Tritium on the dots and inside the hands. Also, original cream colored date-wheel with open 6 and 9 numerals.. The devil is in the details.
