16030 ‘Crème’ Datejust
We always welcome a vintage Datejust on Oyster bracelet, it’s a break from the Jubilee norm and this particular reference becomes more of a Toolwatch due to the look the Oyster bracelet radiates. Just compare the wristshot photo with that of a Datejust on Jubilee, it just looks more tough and badass, add a creamy dial and beautifully aged Tritium to the mix, and you’ve got quite the looker
The cream color on this dial in conjunction with those white gold brushed indices, with each their subtle polished facets at the top and bottom, make for a very attractive vintage Rolex. In day and/or sunlight the dial will show you more of a dark silver tone, indoors the colour becomes pure creme, kind of like a fresh Créme au Beurre cake. The case on this 16030 Datejust is nice and strong with equally shaped lugs and an unpolished engine turned bezel. This Engine Turned bezel does show some traces of wear of course, however we chose not to polish it because it still shows strong and original characteristics. The watch is worn on a 78360 solid Oyster bracelet with 555B end-links. Last but not least, please notice the vanilla coloured Tritium dots at the end of each hour-marker, with the same and matching Tritium color inside the hands – Also, the original date-wheel with open 6 and 9 numerals is still present in the watch.. The devil is in the details.
We’d like to invite you to our showroom so you can inspect this beauty with your own two eyes. As always, this 16030 ‘Creme’ Datejust was fully serviced and will be delivered with our 24 month warranty.
