16013 Matte Diamond Dial

It is time to treat yourself to one of Rolex’s most iconic and enduring designs, the two-tone vintage Datejust. This reference 16013 from 1986 is fitted with a vibrant matte, almost yellow dial, and is somewhat brighter than traditional gold tones, and set with ten factory diamond hour markers. Combined with crisp black printed text and classic Datejust proportions, the result is a stunning, refined yet unmistakably luxurious dial that remains timeless four decades later.

Despite being 40 years young, the case, bezel, and dial are all in excellent condition. The stainless steel case retains broad lugs with clean, well-defined edges, indicating very limited polishing over the years. The 18k yellow gold hands and diamond-set indices complement the vivid dial beautifully, especially when worn in natural light. The center-links of the bracelet, the winding crown and the sharp (unpolished) fluted bezel, all display the warm glow, characteristic of vintage Rolex gold from the 1980s. The original two-tone Jubilee bracelet, a reference 62523H.18 from 1985, does show some stretch as expected with age, but remains solid and perfectly wearable for decades to come. The tritium lume plots have aged to a pleasing soft vanilla tone, and the original cream-colored date disc with ‘open 6 and 9’ numerals completes the vintage charm. This vintage Rolex Datejust will be delivered including the original accessories such as the original purchase receipt from Jeweler Rüschenbeck in Dortmund, the punched Rolex warranty with the mention of the diamond dial, the Rolex hangtag and the German Rolex booklet.

This Rolex Datejust 16013 was professionally serviced by certified watchmakers and is offered with our comprehensive two-years of mechanical warranty.
