1600 DATEJUST CHAMPAGNE SIGMA
We’re happy to introduce you to another very nice 1600 Datejust with smooth bezel and beautiful, Champagne Sigma dial. This Datejust has a more sporty look thanks to that brushed Oyster bracelet and Toolwatch-ish kind of look. That bracelet we’re talking about is a folded Oyster with reference 7836 with 258 end-links from 1971, a rare bracelet which is usually removed from a Datejust watch to be fitted to a 1675 GMT for instance. You see, back in the day, the GMT watches shared bracelets with these Datejust models, so finding this bracelet still attached to a Datejust is a rare find.
The dial has a nice and warm, champagne glow to it with custard colored Tritium on the hour dots and inside the hands. The Sigma dial has a soft Sunray finish and from certain angles the dial color becomes even darker, almost with a gold like glow to it, very cool! The 18k white gold indices feature a sleek black line running right down the middle and the original date-disc features the open 6 and 9 numerals. Please also note that the watch itself and the bracelet share the same year of production; 1971. All in all, this is a beautiful and all original Datejust and a break from the Jubilee norm – A more undercover Datejust so to speak, who’s up!?
This all original 1600 Datejust ‘Champagne Sigma’ was fully serviced by our watchmakers and will be delivered with a 12 month warranty. We would like to invite you to our HQ to come and see this watch for yourself while enjoying a nice, strong espresso.
