Pop-up Speedmaster Lounge ‘The Moon Room’

Back in February of 2017 our friends over at Ace Jewelers created The Moon Room, a two week pop-up gallery/lounge dedicated to the Omega Speedmaster. On show was an eclectic mix of new, vintage and limited edition Speedmaster watches, which were displayed amid an equally eclectic mix of vintage furniture and work by up-and-coming design students. This exhibition celebrated everything Speedmaster and was put together by Ace Jewelers with the help of WatchWorks Haarlem and Watchbase. For the occasion, Ace had decorated an empty room adjacent to their Online HQ at Koningsplein, Amsterdam with furniture, art and objects as eclectic as the Speedmaster watches that were on display.

The opening night drew an especially large crowd, with Robert-Jan of Fratello Watches giving a presentation on the then, not yet available and highly popular, first execution of the SpeedyTuesday Speedmaster. Please click the following link for more images and a short write-up.
