DATEJUST 1603 SIGMA DIAL

Every once in a while a watch comes along that just ticks all the boxes when it comes to quality and overall condition, this Datejust 1603 ‘Sigma Dial’ is such a watch. It’s the way the end-links fit snugly between the lugs without any clearance, the way the Jubilee wraps around your wrist, the way the dial just glows at you.. you’ll know, this is something good.

The case on this Rolex Datejust ‘Sigma Dial’ is nice and clean with a solid, stainless steel engine turned bezel and thick and even lugs. This Iconic Rolex is fitted to its original 6251 folded Jubilee bracelet with 55 end-links and remains in a strong condition with little space between the links and therefor very little stretch. The clasp on the Jubilee bracelet is clean with a sharp Rolex coronet on the outside and with all links sturdy and damage free. That gorgeous silver, Sigma dial is completely free from any spots or damages whatsoever and shows a warm champagne tone when worn indoors. All tritium dots at the end of the 18k white gold indices are accounted for and have aged to a very attractive yellow colour – About those white gold indices; these are brushed and highlighted by two polished and facetted ends, truly beautiful and especially noticeable at those fat, six and nine o’clock indices. This style of dial lay-out offers a cool contrast and great readability at that.
